Terms of Service

Effective date: July 21, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of FieldLine Tech's services. By requesting or accepting services from FieldLine Tech, LLC ("FieldLine Tech," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these terms.

About Us

FieldLine Tech, LLC is a Pennsylvania limited liability company providing device repair, IT support, and website services primarily in Cambria County, Pennsylvania.

Services We Offer

Our services currently include:

We may add, change, or discontinue services at any time.

Estimates and Quotes

We provide free quotes before starting any work. Quotes are good-faith estimates based on the information you share with us and, when applicable, an initial diagnostic. Actual costs may vary if the scope of work changes — for example, if a device turns out to need additional parts or if hidden damage is discovered. We will contact you for approval before proceeding with any work that materially exceeds the original quote.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service unless we agree to different terms in writing. We accept cash and major forms of electronic payment. For larger projects (such as small-business IT setups or website builds), we may require a deposit up front.

Repair Services

Some devices are not economically or physically repairable. If we determine your device cannot be repaired, we will let you know and only charge for any diagnostic work we've completed, as agreed in advance.

Data backup: Repairs sometimes require resetting a device or replacing storage components, which can result in data loss. You are responsible for backing up important data before service. We offer optional data backup services and can discuss those before starting work.

Parts: Replacement parts may be original manufacturer or high-quality aftermarket, depending on availability. We will tell you which we're using before the repair.

Warranty: Repairs are covered by a limited workmanship warranty against defects in the work we performed, for a period we will confirm in writing with your invoice. The warranty does not cover new damage, water damage after repair, unrelated failures, or issues resulting from tampering or use of the device by anyone other than the original owner.

Important: Bring devices in as clean and dry as possible. Devices with visible modifications, prior tampering, or signs of significant liquid damage may not be repairable or eligible for warranty coverage. We will always tell you before starting work if we notice any of these issues.

Website Services

For website work, specific deliverables, timelines, and ongoing maintenance terms will be agreed in a separate written scope before work begins. Domain names and third-party service costs (hosting, email, form processing, etc.) are the responsibility of the customer unless we agree otherwise.

Service Area and Scheduling

We primarily serve Cambria County, Pennsylvania and immediately surrounding areas. On-site service is subject to schedule availability. We do not guarantee specific response times unless agreed in writing.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for any lawful reason, including but not limited to: devices with signs of significant damage that pose a safety risk, requests that appear to involve stolen property, or requests that would violate applicable law, third-party rights, or safety.

Your Data During Service

We take reasonable steps to protect the confidentiality of any personal data accessible on your device during service. We do not access files or content beyond what is necessary to complete the work you requested. You are responsible for removing sensitive materials you do not want us to have access to before service, and for backing up important data.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FieldLine Tech's total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to lost data, lost profits, business interruption, or damage to unrelated equipment.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the courts of Cambria County, Pennsylvania.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent version. Continuing to request services from us after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
